Throughout the afternoon there will be food and drinks, volunteer stories, games, competitions and prizes, alongside plenty of time to simply relax and socialise. Whether you arrive with PMGY friends or come completely on your own, the day is designed to make meeting people easy and bring together everyone who has been, or is about to become, part of the PMGY experience.

Meet Your Host

Josh’s PMGY story started back in 2014 when he joined us as a volunteer in Tanzania. Since then, he’s become a familiar face within the PMGY community, going on to experience our programs in Morocco, India and Sri Lanka. More than a decade after his first trip, Josh is returning to PMGY to host our first Community Day, bringing together past, present and future volunteers from across the PMGY community.

Away from PMGY, Josh has built a successful career in broadcasting and is now one of the voices of Capital FM in Wales, cohosting Capital Drive with Kally Davies every weekday from 4pm to 7pm. His career also includes work as a radio producer, voiceover artist and event host, making him the perfect person to lead Community Day. Best of all, Josh knows the PMGY experience first hand, because his own journey with us started in exactly the same way as thousands of our volunteers.
