But if youโ€™d like to do some prep work before stepping into the classroom, weโ€™ve got just the thing โ€” our introductory online TEFL course! This course is perfect for gaining confidence and skills before your teaching adventure begins.

This course is super convenient at just 60 hours and completed entirely online! Work through it at your own pace, in your own time, and from the comfort of your home. Youโ€™ll have 6 months to complete it, so thereโ€™s no pressure โ€” an hour here and there adds up quickly. With such flexibility, you can easily fit it into your schedule and get ready for an exciting teaching experience abroad!

Once youโ€™ve completed the course, youโ€™ll gain key teaching skills and receive an internationally accredited certificate. If you discover teaching is your true calling, this course can be built upon with additional modules to enhance your expertise further. The TEFL course is divided into 6 modules, covering essential topics like โ€˜The Roles of the Teacherโ€™ and โ€˜Lesson Planningโ€™, providing you with a strong foundation for teaching English internationally.

While a TEFL qualification isnโ€™t mandatory to join a teaching abroad volunteer program, we highly recommend it. Many of our past volunteers have found the TEFL course to be a game-changer, giving them extra confidence and preparation for their classroom experience.
