One week programs are ideal for travellers fitting volunteering around annual leave, university holidays or a wider independent trip. Many require no previous experience, and you can still become part of the volunteer community, experience a different culture and explore your destination outside project hours. If you have more time available, many of these programs can also be extended beyond your first week.
